The Prince William
Yankees Baseball Club is located in Northern Virginia's Prince William County just south of Washington DC. We are affiliated with the
National
Adult Baseball Association, NABA a. The
Yankees enjoy games at Prince William Stadium, a.k.a. Pfitzner Stadium, home of
the Washington Nationals affiliate Class "A" Potomac Nationals. Also
before Potomac was associated with Washington, the team was affiliated with the
New York Yankees and known as the Prince William
Yankees, thus the name of the club today. The team also has its
own field located at Heritage Church in Prince William County so practice and
make-ups are never a problem.
The Yankees predominantly play in Wood Bat league and Tournaments, they also
compete in local League play and add another 10-12 games per year competing against teams from the Semi-Pro VBL League, (Virginia Baseball League),
and other NABA and Independent teams from all over Virginia, Maryland,
Pennsylvania and Delaware.
The Yankees also participate in Several Regional and National Tournaments adding
another 30-35 games per season. Some big Tournaments include Cooperstown NY
(2001,2004 Champions), Arizona World Series (2004 National Champions).
